My future trip to New York.
In December I am going to travel to New York, a wonderful city wich is located on the east coast of the United States. I have decided to travel to this amazing city because one of my friends travelled there last year and she commented me that it was a fantastic tip.
I am going to travel from the twenty-second of December to the second of January, that means that I am going to spend all my Christmas holidays there.
My return tickets cost nine hundred and eighty five euros, it was the cheapest offer that I could find.I am not travelling alone,my best friend is going to come with me. We have decided to fly with Iberia Express because we think that travelling with an European Company will be more comportable and safer.
We are going to fly from Los Rodeos aiport to Adolfo Suárez aiport where we are going to stop over,then we hope we will land in John Fkennedy aiport at three o´clock. After that,we are going to take a bus, that is less expensive than other means of transport.
The hotel where we are going to stay is called Blue Moon Hotel,it provides us bed and breakfast. It is located one and a half kilometers from the city centre, however it has fantastic views of the outskirts of the city. Per night it costs two hundred and twenty six euros.We are going to stay in a double room.We will probably have our meals at the nearest fast food restaurants or pubs. I would like to have typical meals from New York.
To travel we must take our identity cards,our passports ,our health cards and our travel insurance.We are minior so we are going to take a written pariental permission and for a 50% discount on our tickets we should take our residence certificate.
There we are going to visit some different places like the hug Christmas tree in Rockffeller Centre.Also we hope to visit Brooking´s amazing Christmas decorations and the house Chistmas lights.We are going to spend New Year´s Eve at Time Square ,the best place I can think of.
Finally we have planed to attend to a dance performance, go iceskating in Central Park and the most incredible thing, go shopping to Mancy´s.
In December it is winter in NY, so we are going to take our winter clothes.We must take some thermal clothes because winter in Tenerife isn´t as cold as winter in NY.I am going to take los sleeve tops, a pair of gloves, a wollen cap,and some scarves.
My mum is goin to deposit some money in a credit card but I am also taking cash for any unexpected incident. I believe I will enjoy my exciting trip to New York.I want December to come soon!
My past trip to New York
I was in New York from the twenty second of December to the second of January. The return ticket was only nine hundred and eighty five euros! I found a very cheap flight! By the way, I flew wiht Iberia Express. To fly there I had to leave from Los Rodeos Airport, after that I stopped over at Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport and finally I arrived at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.
New York is a huge city located on the East Coast of USA. All my family came so we booked a big hotel room! It wasn’t as expensive as the flight but it was quite expensive anyway! The hotel was two hundred and twenty six euros per night! We’re five in the family so the total amount was about seven thousand and five hundred euros! That’s a great trip!
Besides we took with us our credit cards and some cash for meals. Talking about that, we always ate at fast food restaurants. We also took our ID card, our passport and our Eurpoean sanitary card.
To make the most of our time we visited places from the very beginning. The first day we went to Rockefeller Center to see the huge Christmas Tree, also we bought some Christamas presents there. The next day we went on a walking tour to Brooklyn to see the houses with the Christmas lights. After that, we went to Time Square to spend New Year’s eve. On the first of January, we went iceskating in Central Park. Also we went to Loncoln Center to attend a ballet performance. Finally we went to Macy’s. It’s amazing!
